Sometimes we pray for something that we really feel needs to happen. And, nothing happens. It’s not because God doesn’t hear our prayers – because I know He does; the Bible says so! Sometimes, it’s because God wants to see how important this issue truly is to us – if we are willing to dedicate time praying about the issue. Sometimes, it’s because He wants us to grow a little bit, and to do so, we need to keep praying. Sometimes, He has to tell us “no,” because what we want isn’t in our best interests. That’s when we really have to rely on God, and trust that He knows what we need better than anyone. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” Ephesians 3:20
